Conservation Approval

Tonight, Mike & I had to go to a Conservation Commission meeting about our addition plans. Because our house is so close to Lake Ripple, we had to hire an environmental engineer to come and survey our land. Once that was done, we had to go to the conservation commission and request their approval for our addition. Tonight was the meeting and to our surprise, we were approved in one meeting!!! Mike & I were both very professional during the meeting and we were both VERY happy to have gotten an approval for our project. We left the meeting and as soon as we turned the corner, we started doing the happy dance in the hallway. To our surprise, there were about 5 very professional looking individuals standing behind us watching our "happy dance"...LOL!!! We just laughed and waved at them as it was quite obvious to them that we were just approved for a project. We were just so happy to be through that hurdle that it really didn't matter that we just made complete fools out of ourselves. Ah, what the heck, some moments in life are worth dancing over and this was one of those moments for us :-)
