Today, Katie had her cavity filled at the dentist. I felt so bad for her. Although the dentist was really quick with getting the cavity filled (it took him under 5 minutes once the Novocaine kicked in). I still felt bad for. It's just one more thing in a long line of "things" that she has had to endure, she just didn't need this right now. The poor kid. Anyway, she did great as usual, although there was a lot of screaming and yelling, she stayed pretty still and the dentist was able to work very quickly in getting it done as painlessly as possible, but it's still a filling. He noted that he thought the cavity was caused by a "soft spot" in the tooth rather than an issue with how we are taking care of her teeth, which made me feel a little better. He said that she shouldn't have any more problems with her teeth. We'll see.... Glad that is behind us now.
