Treatment may have ended for Katie, but the battle is far from over.

Please say a prayer for all the children who continue to fight childhood cancer day after day.
Pray for their strength, resilience and healing.

Campin' out in the living room

This weekend, we were supposed to go camping with some friends, but obviously with Kaitlyn's condition, we were not able to go. So, instead, we set up the tent in the living room and had a camp out of our own.

Kaitlyn had fun taking pictures of her own.

We were having fun until the steroids kicked in...

Katie continues to fight strong. Her resilience amazes me. For such a little girl, she sure is showing me how to be strong. As frustrating as it is to fight with her to take her medicine three times a day and to brush her teeth three times a day, I just think to myself, "Keep fighting Kaitlyn, keep fighting. The more you fight, the better you'll be." She is one head strong little girl and this disease WILL NOT get the best of her. I am so proud of my brave little girl.
