Break these chains!!!

Tonight, after Katie had her medicine, we took the first ring off of the paper chain "countdown to the end of treatment" that she got for her birthday. I don't really think she understands the full meaning of these rings and how awesome it will be to see them disappear. She just thinks it's fun to tear the ring off :-)

After tearing the ring, she had a quick steroid moment and then returned to 'normal'. Just a little reminder that she is still in treatment.

After the first ring was off, we hung them up so that the countdown can continue.
