Treatment may have ended for Katie, but the battle is far from over.

Hair Update

I have not posted a hair update in quite a while, so here goes...

January...a hairwave...

February...fun with barrettes!!!

And tonight...not only does Katie have a whole 4 inches of hair on the top of her head, she is also starting to get a second layer of hair :-)

I would have to say that she now has at least as much hair as she started with, if not more :-) And although her hair has grown back slightly different than before, we now accept that it's a very small price to pay for her life.

I am hoping her hair grows fast so that she can have her first haircut in Disney!!!

The barber shop on Main Street in MK was awesome... no appointments, and they will put special gel & glitter (& hair dye) in their hair. And it is much cheaper than going to the BBB. We had Cameron's first haircut there, but even Daniela got a glitter treatment while we were there.

If you go around 3-3:30 you can come out and watch the parade go past. And you can have one person cross the street with the camera and you'll get some good shots of Katie's face as she sees the characters in the parade (this spot is a bit narrower and less crowded than other places, making for good photos).
