Addition Update - Bedroom Walls!

Over the past week, I have been a blogging slacker, but our contractor has been very busy getting things done on our addition.

- We received the money for our first bank draw which made our contractor very happy.
- 2 of the bedroom walls are up
- the stairs going up to the second floor are in, but they need the steps
- the doghouse dormer going into the basement from outside is framed up
- the second floor rafters & plywood are done
and today we finally had a dumpster arrive!

The new dimensions on the house will be 40x42...the size continues to amaze me. Looking at it on paper is one thing, but the reality is quite different. Can't wait to see it with the new roof on!!!

The plan changes everyday, but right now, we are looking at the first weekend in December for tearing off the roof. So, grab a lawn chair and your snuggie...we'll be watching from the road :-)
