My sister, Kay, helped Katie make some very special sugar cookie turkeys. Thank God she was here to help her or I would have spent my whole night making these cookies...thanks Nick Jr....love your bright ideas...
First step was to trace your child's hand, then cut out a pattern. The next step was to cut out each cookie by hand using the cut out pattern from your child's hand...uh yeah...it took forever to cut out all the cookies!!!
Katie enjoyed the frosting portion....
The finished project....lovely "hand made" turkey cookies!!! The whole process took about 3 hours from start to finish...just crazy!!!
Thanks for all your help, Kay. If you weren't here to help, the cookies would be the only thing we would be eating tomorrow!!! lol
I had a blast working in the kitchen having my family here to help...it made the holiday just a little more special :-)
