Off-Treatment Clinic Visit #6

Today Katie had another very quick clinic visit - we were in and out in 1 hour!!!

We saw Jen, one of the nurse practitioners...everything checked out fine and she told us we could stop the Bactrim, which was the last medicine that Katie was on. It is an antibiotic that she had to stay on for an additional 6 months out of treatment. Now, the only medicine that Katie is on is her daily vitamin, like any other "normal" kid :-)

I really don't know if these posts are necessary anymore, since life is more "normal" than not now. But I guess part of me still feels it is necessary even if the posts just say - "Had a check-up today and everything still looks good!"

Her next appointment is scheduled for Monday, May 09, 2011.
