2010 Reflections

2010? Really? Are you sure?

It seems like just yesterday that we were all petrified that the "Millennium Bug" was going to bring down the world. Where did the past 10 years go?

The top 10 things that stand out for me over the past decade are:
***Listed chronologically, not in order of importance :-)

1) September 11, 2001: September 11th attack on American Soil.
2) December 1, 2001: George Harrison died.
3) 2001 - present: The War on Terror.
4) October 28, 2004 : The Red Sox win the World Series for the first time in 86 long and frustrating seasons.
5) June 18, 2005: I married my best friend.
6) August 29, 2005: Hurricane Katrina.
7) February 24, 2006: I had my first child.
8) August 29, 2008: That child was diagnosed with Leukemia.
9) November 4, 2008: Barack Obama is elected the first African-American president of the United States.
10) 2000 - present: Technology developments show no sign of ending with inventions over the past 10 years including the cell phone, the iPod, Toyota's Hybrid Car, You Tube, FIOS, DVR, DVDs & Blue Ray Discs.
