She did really well with her lumbar puncture today. I am so thankful that she does so well with the sedation. It's a wonderful thing. Her doctor and nurses keep telling us how great she does in comparison to other kids who are more aware of the procedure. Honestly, the worst part is the waiting before the procedure because she is starving and screaming for something to eat. Immediately after the procedure, she asked for something to eat. I think she has stolen the hearts of all the nurses at the clinic. How could she not? She is so darn cute!!!!
When we got home, Katie took a nice long nap and then after her nap she was up and about. Full of energy - dancing and singing to the Wiggles - she has quite the affinity for them. And in all honesty, so do I :-) Not because I actually like them, but because of the happiness they bring to Kaitlyn at this time.
Here's to the Wiggles!!!
