Halloween weekend Nor'easter was a shock to everybody. The storm knocked out power to more than 90 percent of Grafton, an estimated 6,900 homes. We were included in that count. We figure that we lost power between 2-3 am and woke up to a chilly house this morning. National Grid is reporting that the town could be without power for as long as four days.
Most of Worcester country is reporting almost a foot of snow, making this a historic snow fall for this time of year. The worst part of this storm is that the trees still have most if not all of their leaves and the snow was very heavy, so it took down a lot of branches and knocked out a lot of power. School has also been cancelled for tomorrow.
A friend created this and I thought it was pretty funny...
