A Valentines gift from the "Wish People"

Today, snowstorm and all, the post man delivered a nice little package covered with Valentines hearts for Katie. The package was from the "Wish People" as Katie calls them. George and Cindy have been so wonderful in sending Katie a little gift for every holiday since they have become her Make a Wish sponsors.

Today, she received some Valentines treats and some packing peanuts.

She promptly opened a bag of skittles and decided to do a "project" with the packing nuts...lol. First, she tried dunking them in water and sticking them together. This did not work and just made a huge mess for me to clean up. A bit later, she went back to her project with toothpicks in hand. She started sticking the peanuts together with the toothpicks. This kept her (& me) busy for about an hour.

Not sure what she will try next, but I am not allowed to throw out the rest of the peanuts...lol.
