Treatment may have ended for Katie, but the battle is far from over.

Please say a prayer for all the children who continue to fight childhood cancer day after day.

The end of the steroids

Today is the last day of steroids for this round of Kaitlyn's treatment. This round brought on a bologna craze...not just any bologna, as we found out last night, but bologna made with Chicken & Pork. Yesterday, my dad ran to the store and picked up two big packages of beef bologna which she refused to eat. I had to go back to the store at 9pm to buy the "right kind of bologna"...ey yi yi...We have gone through 4 packages in 5 days.

This round also made her extremely moody, worse than any of the other rounds. The past three days, she would just scream and cry incessantly and there was nothing that anyone could do to make her happy. As her parents, we want so badly to see our little girl happy, but these drugs just throw her through such a loop. You can see it in her eyes most of all. I hate how sick she looks!

Past Steroid Crazes:
Round 1: Funyuns
Round 2: Pepperoni
Round 3: Pringles Original Potato Chips & chocolate milk
Round 4: Peanut Butter Sandwich & regular milk
Round 5: Burger King Cheesy Tots & a chocolate shake
Round 6: Mac n' Cheese
