Discharged from the hospital

Just a quick update to say that we have been discharged from the hospital today. Dr. Keuker told us yesterday that if Kaitlyn did not have any fevers last night that he would let us go home today. I had my fingers crossed because I had pre-existing plans to go away this weekend for a scrapbooking retreat and I was going to be extremely disappointed if I had to miss it. But, luckily, no fevers last night!!! So, I left the hospital this morning at 6:30am, ran home, paid the bills, packed furiously and made my way to my scrapbooking weekend up in NH. Mike was discharged with Kaitlyn at 12:30pm.

I will be offline for a few days while I enjoy a nice relaxing weekend with my friends!
