Treatment may have ended for Katie, but the battle is far from over.

Please say a prayer for all the children who continue to fight childhood cancer day after day.
Pray for their strength, resilience and healing.

12 hours down

Kaitlyn is 12 hours into her Methotrexate treatment. Her fever has gone away and she was woken up every 2 hours last night getting her diaper changed. There are so many fluids running into her right now that it is unbelievable that her little body can take it. Looking at the IV pole, there are 5 bags of fluid, 3 are connected and running. One is the Methotrexate, second is her antibiotic and third is just IV fluids to keep her hydrated as she receives the Methotrexate. There are 2 IV pumps on the pole to keep all this stuff going.

This is scarier than any horror flick I have ever seen. My poor baby. Nothing to report on mood or side-effects because she is still sleeping.

More updates to come...
