We are still in the hospital. They decided today that they want to keep Kaitlyn for 72 hours after her line was removed instead of the standard 48 hours. Honestly, I think the Infectious Disease doctor on today likes to be overly cautious and if it were one of the other two doctors that we had been seeing all weekend then we would have gone home today. Oh well, better safe than sorry. As badly as I want to get out of the hospital and go home, I want Kaitlyn healthy first. Hoping to be home sometime in the afternoon.
Going home is going to feel like a vacation :-) We are looking forward to a nice quiet night at home tomorrow night.
