KAITLYN IS IN REMISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They also tested her bone marrow for minimal residual disease (MRD) which is a test to measure minute levels of cancer cells in tissue samples, sometimes as low as 1 cancer cell in a million normal cells. MRD is the major cause of relapse in cancer and leukemia. Kaitlyn tested NEGATIVE for MRD.
We will be going back to the hospital next week to begin the next phase of Kaitlyn's treatment.
