Back to the Dermatologist

Last Friday (April 9), Katie went back to the dermatologist to have her mite rash checked out. Her rash is gone for now and everything is looking very good. However, she now has this small (pimple like) growth on her neck that appears to be getting bigger. The dermatologist confirmed that it is "nothing", but a small skin cyst. She said that it may or may not go away on it's own, but that it is nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't bother her. If it doesn't go away on it's own and we want to be more aggressive, we can cut it out. I decided to take the wait and see approach for now. If it doesn't go away in a few months, we may have to have a discussion about what to do, but for now, we are going to leave it alone. What else does this poor kid have to deal with??? ARGH!

We have a follow up appointment in 3 months...
