There was a Kazoo Parade led by Terry Shepherd, Sherry's father. He is an inspiration to all of us. To take his daughter's vision and turn it into something so amazing after she passed away. If something ever happened to Katie, I don't think I would be able to get out of bed, nevermind create such an amazing organization. We are truly greatful to Sherry, her father and everyone involved with the Why Me Foundation.

When Santa arrived, he came bearing gifts for all the kids :-) Katie got Rapunzel & Flynn Rider dolls. She was thrilled. She loves Rapunzel even though she has never seen the new Disney movie "Tangled". Great marketing campaign on Disney's part...lol.

I was happy to see Katie so comfortable with Santa this year. Once she got bored playing with her dolls, she went up to meet Santa & Mrs. Claus.

She had no problem talking to him and telling him what she wanted for Christmas this year!

Nurse Helen made an appearance at the Holiday party...I think it's because she had an "in" with Mrs. Claus... (Mrs. Claus is Helen's mother...shhh....) Either way, we were happy to see her and get a nice picture with her.

Happy Holidays Everyone...
May you take the time to stop and enjoy the beauty of the season!!!
