Katie was happy to serve the very first customer of the day, but she was soon distracted by the 3 bouncy houses that were set up directly across from us. He grandparents showed up shortly after 10am to bring her over there for some jumping! Katie came back every once in a while for a rest and she did help out quite a bit with serving the lemonade too! I love that this year at her lemonade stand, she has PIGTAILS!
This year, we added DoDo the clown to our Lemonade Stand and he was HIT! He spent the whole 7 hours making balloon animals for the kiddos. He raised $94 on his own!!! Awesome job, DoDo...You are the best clown EVER! And the man underneath the make-up is pretty amazing too :-) Eileen was DoDo's assistant for the day!!!
Katie's buddies, Maggie & Rachel are truly amazing young ladies. It is wonderful having these two girls participate in such a great cause. They are truly an inspiration to their generation!
We were lucky to be so busy, but I have to tell you...I did not sit down ALL DAY and I was exhausted by the end of the day! But, it was completely worth it!!!

Katie's Lemonade Stand generated $1064 for the UMass Walk to Cure Cancer.
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that made today such a HUGE SUCCESS!!! We hope that the money raised will someday help to find a cure for this horrendous disease. There are just too many people touched by this disease and it breaks my heart.
We really appreciate your support as we continue the fight against cancer!!!
