As I sit here on this dreary Monday afternoon, basking in the feeling that "we did good" this weekend, with Katie's Lemonade Stand and the UMass Cancer Walk, I am reminded WHY we worked so hard.
It seems that our little friend, Miranda, has been admitted to UMass and there is nothing else that they can do for her. She is only 12 years old and she is about to lose her battle with cancer.
