Tonight, we received the approval of the zoning board, but not without a fight. I am too frustrated and overwhelmed to go into the details except to say that without Peter Adams, a selectman here in town and also a member of the zoning board, our case would have been continued until next month. But, Peter left the meeting, called in the assessor's secretary (at 8:30pm) and found us the information that we needed to be able to answer all the board's questions. Thankfully, the answers provided allowed them to grant us approval.
We will be going back to the building inspector in the morning...ugh...
