Yogi Bear's Jellystone Campground

This weekend, we went camping out at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp Resort in Sturbridge, MA. My dad's band, Beatles For Sale, was performing on Sunday night so, my dad & his friend, Joe (lead singer for Beatles For Sale) both booked cabins for Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights. We met up with them on Saturday afternoon. The cabins were pretty small, but cute. I should have taken some pictures of the inside because one room had 5 bunk beds in it...2 on on side and 3 on the other. You would have to be a pretty small person to fit in the middle one of the 3.

This campground had plenty of activities for the kids...2 playgrounds, tractor rides, paddle boat rentals, a small beach and of course - YOGI, BOO-BOO and Cindy Bear!!!!

At first, Katie didn't know what to think of Yogi & Boo-Boo...heck, kid's these days don't even know who they are! But, this tractor came by our campsite many, many times and finally she decided she wanted to ride too!

Saturday night, Katie had a hard time getting to sleep because this campground was like party central and quiet time didn't start until 11pm. We did enjoy some acoustic Beatles tunes around the campfire though, which was nice.

Sunday, we spent the day having fun around the campground and then went to the Beatles For Sale show that night. They were great as usual. I always enjoy watching my dad perform and it was nice to spend some time with my sis too :-)

It was too cold to stay Sunday night, so we decided to get Katie (& ourselves) home to a warm bed :-)

This wasn't as relaxing as last weekend's camping trip to the mountains, but still a good time. Thanks for taking us, Dad!
